Just curious: When a smart plug is turned off, does it disconnects only the live wire or both the live and neutral wires?

The plug doesn't know which wire is which, it might disconnect live, it might disconnect neutral. Only disconnects one of them. The V2 EU plug I have disconnects the lead on the Button side.

Only hot wire is disconnected, neutral stays connected all the time
Only live - it’s just single relay inside the plug
